The question of rurality and its primacy for national identity has continued to intrigue me in the years since 2018. If anything, prodding many of these assumptions feels all the more urgent in our day and age. However, the aim of the series has not been to skewer. In this volume, I begin to explore more notions of coalescence and interdependence.
